  • The maximum time for community request submissions is 90 days prior to the event. The minimum is 10 business days in advance. All scheduling is subject to change if university needs should arise.
  • Wedding ceremonies MAY NOT be performed on the BYU–Hawaii campus and only receptions for members of the Laie YSA 1st and 2nd stakes may request to use campus space; see Laie YSA Wedding Receptions for more information.
  • All space requested for personal use (not directly associated with your academic courses) is considered community use. Please refer to the community section of our website for guidelines and more information. TVA residents wanting to schedule the TVA Pavilion, see TVA Residents at the TVA Pavilion for more information.
  • BYU–Hawaii has centralized scheduling. The availability of the resource is just as critical to scheduling as finding an open space. You should submit your request for custodial, setups, audio/visual support, catering, etc. at the same time as you request your room. Support limitations may be applied.
  • You will be assigned an event coordinator who will counsel you through your event planning. Changes can be made if there are available resources (manpower and space). No changes can be made within two business days of your event to enable support staff to appropriately plan their own workload. Thinking critically while planning your event will help mitigate late changes.
